201 HP Acura RSX Type R vs. the 2006 & 2007 Civic Si

I'm looking for comparison info of the 201 HP Acura RSX Type R vs. the 2006 & 2007 Civic Si. Comparisons such as the following:

road noise levels
engine noise levels
Driver legroom
Driver headroom
Driver impressions
Stock suspension comparison

Also top speed of both cars?
Is there a governor limit on TOP speed?
Maximum speed in each gear for both cars?

After looking at the Acura website it would appear that the RSX uses an older series unibody as the base for the RSX. Am I correct in this assumption?

I would imagine the rsx is faster because of the higher hp and the 6-speed it carries. Every stock Acura or Honda I have been in seems to be limited.

why would top speed be important? plan on going 140mph or so everyday?

No not everyday - I'm a careful speeder. ;) I typically don't go over 85 mph with my current Civic unless no one else is on the road. I do set my cruise control at just under 80 mph.

If on rare occasion I do speed up beyond 90 or so I never do so near other cars or opposing traffic. I always slow down below 80 when opposing cars approach on a 2 lane hwy or when I pass etc.

Anyhow doesn't hurt to be informed as to what the 2006 & 2007 Si Civic will do or is capable of. I've searched on the internet to try to get answers but with limited results. I think I need to hit the newsstands or search for back issues etc.

The 2006 & 2007 Si Civic essentially share the same engine as the RSX Type R as well as the Six speed manual. I'm assuming the reason for 4 less HP with the Civic is due to slightly altered tuning and a slight bow to Acura. I could never justify buying a RSX or Si Coupe since I have a family but the New 2007 Si Sedan is fair game. At this point my main point of grief is the higher insurance rates when compared to the LX trim 4 door. The daily driver MPG factor of 32 Hwy vs. 40 with the LX is less of a factor however I still enjoy saving the gas money. I have one of the cleanest driving records of anybody I know yet Farmers Ins. will slam me for the 2007 Si Sedan. I have every reason to believe the Si 4 door will become a serious theft magnet.
