Well first off, I've never owned a foreign vehicle before, I've always purchased domestic made vehicles that have been my off-road daily drivers. Unfortunately, gas prices drove my away from my jeeps and into a more fuel efficient vehicle. I purchased a salvaged 2011 honda civic coupe 1.8L from Utah and I reside in Cali. The dealer told me that the vehicle is 50 state legal but I'd like a second opinion. I know GM has only made 50-state legal vehicles ever since 2001 but Idk about hondas. Also, any tips about common issues/problems with these 8th generation civics? Thank you in advance and I look forward to spending a massive amount of time on here learning.

 

I would say that they are, i own a 08 Lx.

But just like everthing else, even honda and chevy could somethings wrong.
