2014 Honda civic coolant gauge

Default 2014 Honda civic coolant gauge

Would like to know if coolant gauge can be displayed

I haven't seen it on my 2013.

What about a temp. Gauge from honda dealer?

Well you can ask... IF they would do it, I'm guessing you will pay a small fortune. They will need to tap into the existing wiring or create a new access point, and find a place in the dash area to mount a real aftermarket gauge. It's very unlikely to be among dealer options. I must admit it's annoying to me to not have a temp gauge. First vehicle I've owned w/o one. Yesterday I did search the vehicle info and there's no display options to show oil pressure or coolant temp.

Can you retrieve the coolant temp from the obd2 and display on the screen?

I would expect an OBDII scan tool will give you real temp, but displaying it on the Honda dash screen??? Doubtful. There are dash-mounted scan tools available, I know of GM owners using them with the GM 3800 cars.
