im getting the fm stuff, but now my shift from 1st to 2nd goin into 2nd feels chunky not smooth i feel like 2 or 3 bumps so what can i do to fix it?

 

Rebuild or swap the transmission.

That sounds a lot like a slow grind. You'll experience the same thing if you try to shift to 1st if you're moving a little too fast. The only way to truly fix a grind is to rebuild the transmission.

I'd also just like to point out that B-series transmissions are a dime a dozen and the LS trans is perfect for boost and/or fuel economy.

 

what do you mean by a dime a dozen?

 

They're cheap and easy to find. Basically, if you want a cheap-ish fix, swap in a transmission from an Integra LS.

 

and thats a ys1 tranny with the 4.26 gears? i also think my tranny fluid may be old/low
