93 civic cx what to do?

Ok so i just got my new 93 cx. It is POS when it comes to top speed, acceleration is gone when i hit 3rd.What should i put in it to make it a bit quicker first off?And then maybe in the long run, when money is less tight? I love the the handleing and basicly every thing about the car...but its speed. Any sugestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

You're trying to make an economy car go fast. the cx is the most fuel efficient honda, with the least horsepower and longest gearing. My advice: get a different car. :D

Try and get an EX model or SI. Those are the fastest models you can get.

What a deal! Wow. Anyways... Hell no, it won't fit in there... without modding the car quite a bit. I say drive the stock Cx, save a lot of money on gas, then put the savings to buying a faster car.

or if you wanna keep the bodystyle of the car, or keep the car itself, like he said save up some money and do a motor swap, a d16z6 that is out of a 92-95 civic ex/si is a direct bolt on for your car, you can pick them up @ a junk yard for around 4-700 dpends on thje mileage etc etc.... then you can go from there, that motor is a good motor to build if your gonna race it or just have fun with it, and good for stock if you just want it to get you around, and still have a lil bit of power, now im not talking about like " woo hoo badass power" its enough to get you around and have a lil fun with, theres so many to choose from
