93 Octane

It wont hurt my civic if i run 93 octane. I mean my injectors will be fine right? I just want to make sure before i waste 25 bucks.

Waste 25 bucks on what? Are you talking about your next tank of gas?

RE: 93 Octane

No, it won't hurt your engine. It's just that if you don't need the extra octane, then why use it?
BTW, you wouldn't be wasting $25 on a tank, you would only be wasting about $6. (the price difference between regular and high octane)

Wow, do they sell 93 at a station around you man? If you really want some heavy duty octane, go to the aiport. It's like $15 a gallon though.

I don't think the airports are into selling the public their fuel. [sm=forgetit.gif]

your car is made to run on 89 or 87 octane... if you use higher you are just wasting your money with no performance gains at all.
