Alright, I just realized that this whole time, we both have only been viewing our own zip codes' prices. You have to change your zip code yourself in the menu bar at the top of the website page. Change it to 32796 and see if it makes a difference. That $385 was the difference for my area. So whatever you get should come out to a difference of $385. If I change the zip code, it won't change it for you when you click the link.

for yours make sure you check off everything except Single Compact Disc, Multi Compact Disc, Leather, Flip-up roof, Moon Roof, alloy wheels, and premium wheels. put yours as good condition
for the del sol, check off everything except Multi Compact Disc, Leather, and Alloy Wheels. put his as fair condition

you should then get the correct amount.

yea i got $385 after doing that. so you dont think i can get a paint job for $400? or would i be better off just getting the hood painted white (much cheaper im assuming)

I'd just the get the bumper and hood painted white. You won't get a good paint job for the whole car for $400. Maybe if you do it yourself, but I assume that you're not. If you've never done it before it'd probably turn out not so good anyway. If you can get a paint job for $400, it will be crap, don't waste your money. You should be able to get the hood and bumper painted for less than that with good paint and clear coat though. Especially white. It's cheaper.

Well i would normally think that a 700 dollar paint job would be crap, but if it's got a warrantee maybe it's alright. Does your friend's paint job look good? How long is the warrantee?

im not sure how long his warranty is but i know he has gone back once but that was only because they messed up putting his bumper back on. it sagged a little on one side. but he took it to them and they fixed it same day with no issues. it looks really good. he has a silver 00 Civic Ex. he took it to them because he got a new bumper and spoiler as well as a new door so they just painted the whole thing.

You'll want to check out the warranty's length. I've heard of cheap paint jobs only lasting 1-2 years before they chip, fade, peel, or whatever. If you want it done real good do all the prep work yourself. Sand off all the old paint, primer it, and then take it to them. Unless they'll do all that for you. You don't want it painted right over the old paint. That's what the previous owner had done on my car. It's black, and you can see the blue underneath parts where the paint has chipped. The paint I have is also crappy paint. I want to save up for a nice black paint job once I get everything else done to my car that I want. It'll be the finishing touch. I'd talk to your friend and the people at the shop that your going to take it to. Ask them what exactly they do and ask them about the paint quality and the quality of the job they will do. $700 is pretty cheap for a paint job so I would be a little wary of its quality.
