is a 97 y8 vtec?
 
yup, i am new to hondas and intend to do alot of searching but i am also looking for some ppl who know there **** and can educate me alittle, is a y8 vtec? What is the difference between VTEC and VTEC-E. Here is a link if u dont know what i mean about VTEC-E http://car-part.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi

Yeah, its got it. But its not really all that great on the Y8. You can just hear it when it kicks in, and it does pull a bit more, but not as much as a B series would.

Haha you're probably right man.

Like windcalmer said, it does have it, but it's not dohc so it doesn't feel like b series or any other dohc honda vtec.
