all carbon fiber hood companies say that the hoods are for off road use only. my ? is has anyone ever hada cop mess with them for having a carbon fiber hood

They say that because they don't want to be liable for any accidents that might happen with the aftermarket hood. Get some hoodpins if you're worried.

or you could just not get a carbon fiber hood so that it fades on you a year later and you have to pay to again to go back to OEM...I dont know anything about that though:eek:

i was more concered about about the laws and if there were any laws against using them on the road, apearnty it is just a liabilty issue. thanks
