airbag light on 95 civic
Hello, I think I caused the light to come on while tightining a loose steering wheel(not sure why it was loose)......by not disconnecting battery before unplugging airbag, or maybe the ignition was on and I didnt realize it ....any way.....is it possable to reset the airbag light? Or do I have to take it to a dealer to reset whatever code set........(and yes I replaced the clock spring cause I thought I broke it)

RE: airbag light on 95 civic
You can try to disconnect the battery for a while and hope it doesnt turn on when you connect it again

RE: airbag light on 95 civic
well I tried that for a while and it didnt seem to get rid of whatever code is stored......maybe I'll leave the battery out for a good while...other than that I guess I gotta pay 50 bucks for them to erase a dam code

RE: airbag light on 95 civic
use the search on the forum for "remove srs light"
the srs system is different from the ecu, as such, resetting the ecu doesn't fix the srs light |
RE: airbag light on 95 civic
yup yup yup the only thing the search came up with is put tape over the light........heheeh I want the srs system to work again...........damm it ...its friggen dealer time
