airbag light on 95 civic

Hello, I think I caused the light to come on while tightining a loose steering wheel(not sure why it was loose)......by not disconnecting battery before unplugging airbag, or maybe the ignition was on and I didnt realize it ....any way.....is it possable to reset the airbag light? Or do I have to take it to a dealer to reset whatever code set........(and yes I replaced the clock spring cause I thought I broke it)

You can try to disconnect the battery for a while and hope it doesnt turn on when you connect it again

well I tried that for a while and it didnt seem to get rid of whatever code is stored......maybe I'll leave the battery out for a good while...other than that I guess I gotta pay 50 bucks for them to erase a dam code

use the search on the forum for "remove srs light"

the srs system is different from the ecu, as such, resetting the ecu doesn't fix the srs light
