Default Analog Odometer Not Perfect BUT:

I just can't figure this one.
2000 Civic LX and Auto check is Clear. The interior is almost Flawless. The exterior is also in Excellent Condition. The engine and transmission run smooth. The car is truly in outstanding condition and I picked it up from a guy who appeared to be the last thing from being a scamming type.
The analog odometer however is not perfectly straight. I know the 10,000 mile number is usually the one you need to look at and this number as well as the thousand number are perfect. Only the last 3 digits are not perfectly aligned with the 66 on a 66,689 mile car. The CV boots are original and not torn, the exhaust is excellent, in other words the car looks outstanding for a 2000 model Honda. The numbers are not Way Off but not Perfectly Straight. Frankly even if I knew it was rolled back I don't even know if I would sell it. It looks That Good!

Any Ideas here?

there are variences in mass production such as this.. its nothing to worry about. there are clips on the inside of the odometer and if those are broken then there has been somone who definately tried to or succeeded in tampering with it.
