Hoses look stupid painted! So do colored wire looms.

You are going overboard. Keep it simple... Valve cover, battery tie down (don't paint, get an aftermarket one), reservoir covers, fender washers, etc. That sort of stuff. Don't just go painting random stuff, it looks bad. It makes it look like you can't control yourself when you get a can of spray paint in your hands. Less is more

 

if you did a wire tuck it would look really really clean, just to see motor and not all that mess, i did my teg and it just looks so good.
