Anyone got an EK9 Type R???

Im bored with my prelude! Fast it may be, but its just a bit to refined, and I figure a type r could be the prefect remedy! What are your views on this car? I cant afford one of course, but I'll no doubt end up selling a guitar or 2 if I think its the right thing!

From what I understand they are very well balanced cars but they are also no-nonsense too. Racing buckets up front stock, weight reductions through out the car meaning a louder ride, stiff suspension. The B16B is a nice engine though.

My friend has one. Its very purpose built with lots of vibrations. If you want a "race car" then its the car for you. If your prepared to deal with the harshness.

Berz out.

How usable day to day to you think it is? Im talking about maybe 8000 - 10000 miles a year? Plus any ideas about the servicing? My local honda garage barely understood what my last civic was!

Also, the next generation type r's are now falling into the same price bracket as the ek9's. Great cars, no doubt a lot more usable, reckon this is a better bet?, or should I go for the older one?
