I would die without an arm rest. One of my gf's old cars didn't have it, and after a 2 hour drive, I wanted to die.

there is an actual use for it, its easier to shift. Next time look down when you shift into 4th, you have to move your arm to the left so you dont hit it. People like it for long road racing but is it worth the extra money? prolly not.

jesus christ!!?! 96.00 bux? freakin japanese rippin' us off again, lol. I could have sold you my old one off my dx for under 20 bux shipped. I don't even see why people need this, you shouldn't be hitting the armrest unless you either have abnormally long arms, or you're very short, lol

If you are referring to mine, its not "all scratched" up, that is a mud smear on the back side. We worked out a deal, I bought his arm rest he gets to put the money towards part of what he wants, works out well for both.
