Anyone have remote car starter in desert?
I live in Las Vegas, so obviously temperatures are blazing hot all summer (100-120 degrees) and it's annoying to stop at a store, go in for 5-10 minutes, come out and get into a really hot car. Has anyone living in a really hot climate like NV or AZ installed a remote car starter on their Civic (mine is an 06 automatic), and how well did it cool down the car? For instance, if you pressed the start button in the store at the checkout line, by the time you got out to the car 2 or 3 minutes later, do you think it would be cooled down a little bit inside, or at least blow semi-cool air out of the vents when you get in?
