i know you all have gone over the limit for what ever reason. just look for some feed back on the jammer.

sure.. everybody has sped at one time or another. but the moral of the story is... you only get where you're going a matter of minutes if not seconds faster than if you did the limit. like skateman said. its safer and cheaper. just leave 5 minutes earlier.. problem solved. when you grow up and become a little more mature (not sayin you're immature) you'll realize that speeding gets you nowhere. leave the speeding to the track.

[sm=bananallama.gif]or start riding one of these to work.. i dont think the cops waste their time pulling these over. = D

Radar and laser jammers are both interesting tools. I believe Escort now has a laser jammer (Escort Shifter ZR3) which integrates with its x8500 line of detectors that has both front and rear jammers. This to be would be a worthwhile purchase except it costs about a gonad. There are others in the too much to spend range like Blinder Xtreme M40. Normally when I drive, I wait until I find a "Rabit". A "Rabit" being someone driving around 70-100 miles an hour. I wait until they pass me and then about a quarter mile or closer I coast behind him. I dont mind going that fast, and if there are cops ahead, my dectetor (x8500) will sound off and the "Rabit" gets the hassle. At night always keep your eyes ahead for mass break lights lighting up. LOL
The new Escort Passport 9500i is very smooth! GPS enabled radar where you can teach it false locations. Its more than just that. But again, its for those who speed and would rather drop half a grand on a detector than a ticket.

They are illegal! I know a guy that has one and he says they work to a point, but if you see a cop you best pull it off the dash and throw it on the floor. All a cop has to do it see the damn thing when you at a stop light and your screwed.

I mean if your going 10 mph over the limited and fly past a cop, the cop only needs to see that your going faster than everyone else. He can point the gun at the car behind you and see how fast they are going. Plus I don't think Jammers work in all directions.

Just save your speeding for the highway when your in a big pack, make someone be the leader and just get in the middle, no way they are going to pull the whole gang over.

I've seen cops pull over three, four cars at once from a pack. It was crazy. I've never seen anything like it. They were all speeding in the right lane, and he pulled up beside each one starting with the first one and moving to the next one and forcing him to pull over. They couldn't go anywhere because he was pulling over the car in front of them. I passed by them in the far left lane, doing exactly the speed limit and utterly terrified, so I did not end up seeing how many of the cars he actually ended up pulling over. I can only assume that he had backup on the way already....

im only 17, but when i first got my licence, i got 3 speeding tickets in my civic haha. after the 3rd one i just chose not to speed. i speed once in a while, just step on the gas cuz its fun you know? haha but i rarely speed, and if i do, its not for very long. my girlfriend is HORRIBLE. she drives a cavalier, and shel just be driving, and be like oops 70(km/h) haha and doenst even slow down! but yeah, escort makes very good dectectors, dont know much about their jammers. in sask, having one is legal, and if you get caught with it, it obviously wasnt worth the money then was it?

This is from the Anarchist's Cookbook V.666*. Enjoy!

Highway radar jamming by The Jolly Roger Most drivers wanting to make better time on the open road will invest in one of those expensive radar detectors. However, this device will not work against a gun type radar unit in which the radar signal is not present until the cop has your car in his sights and pulls the trigger. Then it is TOO LATE for you to slow down. A better method is to continuously jam any signal with a radar signal of your own. I have tested this idea with the cooperation of a local cop and found that his unit reads random numbers when my car approached him. It is suprisingly easy to make a low power radar transmitter. A nifty little semiconductor called a Gunn Diode will generate microwaves when supplied with the 5 to 10 volt DC and enclosed in the correct size cavity (resonater). An 8 to 3 terminal regulator can be used to get this voltage from a car's 12v system. However, the correct construction and tuning of the cavity is difficult without good microwave measurement equipment. Police radars commonly operate on the K band at 22 ghz. Or more often on the X band at 10.525 ghz. most microwave intruder alarms and motion detectors (mounted over automatic doors in supermarkets & banks, etc.) contain a Gunn type transmitter/receiver combination that transmits about 10 kilowatts at 10.525 ghz. These units work perfectly as jammers. If you cannot get one locally, write to Microwave Associates in Burlington, Massachusettes and ask them for info on 'Gunnplexers' for ham radio use. When you get the unit it may be mounted in a plastic box on the dash or in a weather-proff enclosure behind the PLASTIC grille. Switch on the power when on an open highway. The unit will not jam radar to the side or behind the car so don't go speeding past the radar trap. An interesting phenomena you will notice is that the drivers who are in front of you who are using detectors will hit their brakes as you approach large metal signs and bridges. Your signal is bouncing off of these objects and triggering their radar detectors! HAVE FUN! -Jolly Roger- P.S. If you are interested in this sort of thing, get a copy of POPULAR COMMUNICATIONS. The ads in there tell you where you can get all kinds of info on all kinds of neat equipment for all kinds of neat things!
