So i have a family friend who is offering me a 1991 honda civic si hatch
its got gsr b17 swap intake exhaust stage 3 race clutch weight reduction down to just 2 seats and a roll cage short shifter gsr trans not to sure on the handling performace couple nics and dings small "honda rust" everything has 40000 miles on it he offered it to me for $2500 is it worth it |
it's worth it IMO, as long as everything runs right
btw, it's a b18 or b16 EDIT: just realized, there is such thing as a b17, but i doubt it has one |

Like with any car, test drive it and see how you like it. Also it can be hard for modified cars to pass smog tests, if you need to in your area.

Make sure it wasnt hard runned. With those mods i know i would run it pretty hard occassionally.

well, to clear this up, he PM'd me with specific questions and...
he said the interior is completely gutted besides 2 seats and a roll cage (which is what he meant by weight reduction) and it's his first car... i'm changing my position to that he shouldn't get the car. 1. it has a stripped interior. Not really good for a daily driver. 2. It has a stage 3 clutch, which is also not that great to have for a daily driver. 3. It's too much power for a first car |
Yea def not a first car by the sound of what you said destruction. Also if anything happens, he will be paying a lot more then he wishes.
