b16 potential

I have a 99 si with stock internals...and it burns oil. I was told its either the piston rings or teh head gasket....but i will find out tomorrow. but anyway, i need to know what you guys think i should do. im going to fix it, but while the motor is ripped apart i might as well build it. lemme know im open to all sorts of suggestions

Yeah if you have the time I would do internals if your thinking of running high boost or just high compression. If you just want a cheap easy project you can get better adjustable cam gears and maybe a light weight pulley kit it would give you a lil more power. Just a suggestion tho but you can do a lot more.
