Default Beginner's question- HX

I'm sorry, this is going to seem like a really useless question, but:

I have a 97 HX Civic, and am looking to invest in some new hardware. The listings though show for DX/LX/CX or EX/Si. Which category would my HX fit into?

thanks very much

I think the HX had the upgraded EX/SI powertrain but a basic DX interior.

For a 6th Gen HX, you will need EX style parts for the intake, as the throttle body is horizontal.

The DX/LX has a vertical throttle body, which is obvious by the position of the air filter box right over the intake manifold area.

For the exhaust, you will need DX/LX style parts, as the HX has the all in one catalytic converter and header assembly similar to them.
