Default blown shocks

My KYB AGX's are getting here tomorrow to replace my blown struts and shocks, and about a week ago I put on my H&R sport springs to replace my ebay ones(which is when i found out the shocks are blown).

I've been driving around with blown shocks for the week (just the rear), and i'm just curious if that could damage the springs. I know you can blow the shocks on cheap springs...but can you mess up the springs by driving with them on the blown shocks?

the car is already sitting on the springs, its what holds the car up. The shock only controls how fast the spring moves up and down with whatever dampaning in it. Your springs will be just fine. your back end might bounce a little but wont hurt anything

they'll be fine esp if u'll be installing the shocks soon, just be careful. driving with blown shocks can be pretty dangerous.

yea i know about it being dangerous. i've been driving it easy and avoiding roads with lots of dips, most of the roads around here are pretty smooth so it hasn't been too bad. I plan on installing the shocks when I get home after school tomorrow. Putting the springs on only took a few hours last time and I haven't had any problems with seized bolts so I should be able to do it pretty quick... Especially since this is the 3rd time i've taken the shocks and struts off lol.

good to know that I won't end up taking it apart and putting it back together only to discover bad springs.

thanks
