*ninja edit: actually, I'm thinking the EK 2dr/4dr/hatch front bumpers are the same for all 96-98's... I know the EG front bumpers are different, but I've never heard anything about EKs being the same way

 

Welp I can't find a polyurethane type r rear lips. I might split it and put a abs one on the back and poly on the front..

 

You should be fine with an ABS rear lip. I had one on my old civic with no problems. The rear bumper is a good bit higher than the front, so it hitting the ground isn't really an issue.

And here's why I say I didn't have any problems with my rear lip:


My ish was dumped. At one time I had an ABS plastic Mugen style front lip when it was lowered that much. It lasted about a month before I broke it. Here's some crappy camera phone pics... the front lip was about 3" off the ground lol:

I think I'ma go with the lips...there cheaper and more reliable. Would it be possible to put a 2000 oem front bumper on my 98 civic?

 

you have to do the full 99-00 font end conversion, theres plenty of topics on it, i was going to do it to my hatch
