Busted Out Windshield!

Default Busted Out Windshield!

I was driving home and thelatch on my CF hood broke.. so it flew up and hit my windshield and now the windshield is cracked like crazy, the hood is broke, and the hinges for the hood is bent.. theirs a dent on the top of the car..

What should i tell my insurance company?? just tell them the truth? or should i just not bother them about it and buy a new hood and windshield.. i need ur help guys..

Its gonna be a pretty expensive fix, this has happened quite a bit to people who have CF hoods. You'll probably want to go through insurance as long as you have full coverage.

yea but then wouldn't your insurence go up? is it worth that?

ya and its because of a aftermarket part..they might drop you if they find out your modding your car (happens to alot of people). Personally...i would pay it out of my pocket, window wont be to much, and a new hood with paint..the only thing would be the dent on the roof might be expensive
