Default Buying a used Civic from 1990's?

I heard than Honda Civic has good mpg. What other used cars would have similar mpg?

I heard that Civic doesn't need much fixing. If you learn how to fix things yourself how much would it cost to fix or replace things that you might encounter?

How much would this compare to something like Geo Metro?

Mentioning a Civic in the same paragraph as a Geo Metro is an insult to every Honda product ever built. LOL!

Seriously, though, look at how many Honda Civics from that era are still on the road versus most any other brand (including Geo). They keep on tickin'.

no there's a reason the toyota corolla, honda civic and honda accord are the top best selling cars in automotive history. when there's that many hondas driving around that makes parts a whole lot cheaper. also hondas especially older models are very simply built not over engineered.

can you design a 90's honda civic so that you can sleep in it on flat surface?
I guess you can do that on wagons easily but I like the high MPG of Civic, so I would like to know if it's possible.
