A/C stoped working

It seems like my 97 Civic lx is just keep faling apart. Couple weeks ago my AC stoped working it turns on but it doesn't blow cold air, and for some reasone A/C pipes High presure very hot you cant touch that hot and the low presure is on the hot side too, i don't remember which one of them but one of them should be ICE cold and it isn't. Any ideas????
Second problem happend today, my odometer stoped working, speed gauge works but my miles don't turn over anymore. what could be wrong here?
Please help me out, im trying to sell it.

Well the AC could possibly have a leak like mine used to. Go out to your local Autozone by some refrigerant with sealant in it or buy the sealant separate and put it through the low pressure valve works perfectly.

make sure you buy the gauge that goes with it so you dont overfill it that can be bad, no idea about odometer problem

The problem with putting in stop leaks into the A/C is if that doesn't fix it & you have to take it to a shop they will refuse to work on it. The stop leaks plug up their recovery machines & they have sniffers to detect it.

true best is to see if you have a leak or not. If you have enough freon your problem might be electrical like probably a open in the low pressure switch or some thing similar. my 2 cents.
