Can i still drop my honda with 18" Wheels?! :(

I havent really asked anyone and thought here would be the perfect place.
i still want to drop my civic a little lower, And i was one day SURPRISED with 18" konig rims!? there beautiful! & i lovee them! but didnt want sooo big! the problem with this is, they were a gift, and i wouldnt be able to sell them so now i have to work around it to make the car look as best as possible with them. & i wanted to drop it a little lower, so can this still be done, without it rubbing & any ideas of how to still make it look good with the 18"? :( Im upsett!!

girl... no just no... lol. hhmmm i think i've seen someone else sayin that... lol. dont put 18"s it will look BAD! not only that, it will give u really bad handling and braking. go with 15's or 16's. i knw in h-town its all bout big this big that, but not with a civic. just don't. how low is it dropped? don't go no more then a 2in drop... i don't recommend it. especially the way houston streets are. trust me... i tell u by experience. go with some drags like me. i'm gettin 15's with 195/50R15 size tire. and i'm droppin my civic 2in.... its perfect that way... btw i'm gettin black with machined lip drag dr-16's. check them out on discounttiredirect.com

it would be really hard to make 18" look good on a 6th gen civic. they are just too big and looks awkward. you wont have a lot of room to work with in term of lowering your car maybe rip out the wheel well to get a little more room to work with. BTW what konigs did you get?

You can barely even drive the thing at stock height with 18" wheels. No way in hell you'll be able to lower it and not rub and scrape like crazy.

Yeah, I really see no way to lower a 6th gen on 18's without some serious rubbing problems.

I mean, you could roll the fenders, stretch smaller width tires over the wheels, and run a lot of negative camber, but the wheels are too big to outright avoid rubbing. The only way I can think of to avoid rubbing would be to tub the wheel wells.

Meh...

Who buys 18" rims for someone who owns a honda?

I even think that 17's are too big but thats my own opinion...
