Ok here go's
Have 94 civic coupe , need front bumper cover,Had slight damage to it from myself hitting object , so I tossed out original bumper out ,
Have ordered bumper covers from 5 different aftermarket web sights , 1 from Honda dealer , to find that none of these will fit , car has no mods to it all factory, all bumper covers are the same problem fit from fender to fender but height is the problem ,needs to be about 4 " taller , now I am out of options , can't find one at salvage yards either ,
Has anyone had this problem?
I know I can't be only one with this issue.?
Or do I have a only one type of Honda made. Lol
Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated thanks

 

Also have been ordering part using vin #
Car emmisins due , sucks that car will have to be taken off road from this problem

 

Do u remember what the bumper use to look like?

Like, was it fiberglass? or Urethane?

These r 2 stock font OEM bumper covers, do any of these look like yours?

Problem is that bumper cover is not tall enough from where it bolts to front frame like 5 bolts on top then would need to bolt under frame with 2 bolts , all the number covers I'm getting are not tall enought to fit to these bolt holes if lined up top ,bottom of bumper lands into radiator area , needs to be about 4" taller , but it looks exactly the same ,almost like the mold for thi is incorrect , like saying before , even factory oem is exactly like the aftermarkets , not fitting up

 

Also with purchasing all these bumper covers that do not fit now I am in the hole for about $700 dollars & still haven't found a bumper that fits , just pure crazy , Honda has got a serious issue with this part ,
Major problem is don't know what to do next , dealer just says he has no other way to look up parts , calls for part # 71101-sr0-a00zz ,this part will not fit a factory 94 civic

 

Any way you can take pics of the whole rad support?

 

yeah you probably have damaged or bent something preventing the bumper to sit flush.

 

Nothing bent or broken / no damage at all ,

 

are you the original owner are you sure the previous owner didn't swap the front clip ???.

Yes I am original owner since brand new,
Civic has never been wrecked/front end swapped/or even towed
No damage of any kind was done to this civic, (other than small Egg dent in corner of bumper cover ( this is what started my nightmare)
Have tried a factory bumper cover from Honda , parts train , auto warehouse ,
All are the exact same problem of not fitting , like they are all coming from same mold, like all part# & boxes they come in are correct , cover looks exactly like original from factory that was on civic to begin with , but all new covers are not fitting in the exact same areas ,
