I was at honda dealership today and one person said the 3 button key I have(lock, unlock, panic) might have a key combination to pop the trunk electronically.

Is that possible? What is the key combination?

You would have to install a solenoid (door poper) onto the trunk wire and then connect the solenoid the wires that are activated by the 3rd button on the keyless

 

No, what I mean is, there is no third button on my key. They told me you may be able to achieve the same result from some key combination.

Are you saying the honda civic 2010 lx is not wired to where the trunk can be electronically opened?
