Can't decide : Older Black Civic vs Younger Silver Civic
ORIGINAL: iceland_potter
Hi all,
I'm thinking about buying my first Civic, I can't decide whether to buy a Black Civic 2001 with 75,000 miles on the clock, or a 2003 Silver Civic with 60,000 miles on the clock. The only difference in price is £500 ($1000) more for the Silver one, so the price isn't really a factor considering it's a younger Civic.
They're both in great condition, and although I really wanted my first Civic to be black as I wanted to put a standard spoiler on it and nice alloys and think they'd look better on a black car, but the silver one is a bargain really being so much newer for only a small price increase.
Please help me decide !

If they're the same bodystyle, get whichever one you'll still like to look at several years down the road.
Kommando, ur right the silver one is 3 door and the black one 5 door. I generally prefer 5 door cars, and the black one is a nicer colour. I test drove it last night and the engine sounds to me like a real pearler (very nice). It wasn't as exciting as the Type-R I drove at the weekend tho obviously !
