Change what RPM auto car shifts at?

hey is it possible to change what RPM my automatic civic will shift at? when i floor it.. its shifts at about 6000rpm im pretty sure.. i want to try and see if i can take advantage of a 4-1 header in the higher rpms.

tighten the kickdown cable i think. not sure on the 7th gens, but that would work on the older ones. or get a new torque converter, but they are HELLA expensive for performance ones.

i'd also recomend a performance converter (and trans cooler if you can).

Torque Converter

last time i checked on TCs, that Dragon one, was like 800 bucks.

RE: Torque Converter

Would the tranny cooler make that much difference when it comes to performance? Would it give you better firmer shifts and transfer more torque to the wheels? Also, what kind of tranny cooler would you get if you were to get one, I dont think they make them specifically for civics, do you just get a universal one or?
