ok i looking at geting new 06-07 si but i dont know nuthing about the si. i can find one for cheap but its a 2003 and i dont like the body style. i like the way the new one looks. are the si that great? someone told me that k20 engine sucks and has alot a flaws. just looking to get some opinions about the si.

 

If you are looking at SI's I suggest the 2006+ models
1. they are better looking (in my opinion)
2. More Horsepower and overall performance
3. endless possibilitys for mods b/c there are so many after market parts

 

yea man definately go with the 06+ one over any other one besides the 99-00 si's. yea u would like it a LOT better if you go with an si compared to anything else.

 

ugh, there really aren't THAT many parts out for it yet. If you want an Si with good aftermarket support, 99-00 is the way to go.

 

99-00 go for those... the new ones look like a fat rounded b**ch ... my opinon and teh k20 doesnt have that many flaws i mean its the same engine in a type s rsx... and not many people ahve problems with that ... for teh newer civic not many parts are out yet maybe you can get the engine parts if your going after speed but if you want anything look wise your going to max out after rims ... plus suspention parts may not even be out yet ... my opinion ( i hate the newer civics ... they completely messed it up ... :-( )

haha ... the only thing i dislike about the Hb's in teh new si's like the 05 ones is how the shifter it up in the dash... not on the platform... my opinon ugly
