just wonderin lol

if a honda civic has 115hp and weighs 2,449lbs
and a c class that has 168hp and weighs 3,240lbs

so if you do the math

2449 / 115 = ~21hp per lbs
3240 / 168 = ~19hp per lbs

does that mean the civic is faster?

 

You also have to take into account all the torque the c class has vs the no torque honda has

well the civic has ~22 torque per lbs, and c class has ~18

now the civic with higer hp and torque per lbs, is it faster than the c class?

 

no because then you have to calculate the gear ratios. THe c class a higher gear ratio and it will smoke the civic. 115hp is not whp. THe civic is not making 115hp at low end torque. So not until like 4-5k rpm the civic isn't making any high hp or torqe. Probably around 3rd the car will pick it up but by then it will be over
