you can convert the crx and the ej/ek to obd1 but thats more $$$
go for a 4dr and make a sick sleeper or a hatch
no thanks on the 4dr/hatch. I really really really do not like the 4drs and hatchbacks.

I just don't feel that way at all. And that pretty much goes for every hatchback(GTI/WRX wagon, civic hatch, etc etc)

My friends 91 hatch has around 200 and runs mid to low 13s with a stock clutch. It has a B20B Vtec swap. Not a CRX but very close in weight. My 98 Hx is almost running 15s with bolt ons on the stock D16Y5. If you want a car you can take to the track get the CRX its lighter. Not that you cant take Civic Coupe to th track.

Well lets do that math here and get an estimate. I know a honda prelude 4th/5th gen can run 15's in the 1/4 and has 200hp 160 tq and weighs almost 3000lbs. If a CRX had that power but weighs 2000lbs. Not sure on that weight. Anyways for every 100 lbs you lose its 0.2 seconds off the 1/4. 500 lbs would be a 1 second. 1000 lbs would be 2 seconds shaved off the 1/4. So 15 - 2 - 13. A CRX with 200 HP running a 13 second 1/4. Id believe it.

Honda didnt make an HF model til the second gen CRX 89-91. A first gen is not a good CRX to do a swap in. The first gen needs to have mounts cuts and welded to make a B series fit. Many first gens are carbarated and this make the swap even harder.
