Default cruise control

So i got a del sol si, and it's got cruise control, kind of. If I push the button for cruise control, the cruise control light does not come on (I think the switch is supposed to light up, but it doesn't), and nothing happens. So then I try to set my speed just to see if it works, and nothing.

Faulty switch?

Is the cruise control in there? Check under the hood. Looks like a spaceship of sorts.

Check for a blown fuse.

For a Civic, I would suggest you perform the Control Unit input test (see manual for specific tests):

So I got bored tonight and did some searching. I stumbled across someone mentioning something about the clutch switch. My brake light switch bumper thing broke recently and I fixed it, so I decided to go look. Sure enough, I go outside and look, and come to find out that the bumper thing was gone. I put a nut and bolt in its place, just like I did for my brake light, and then I took it for a drive. The cruise control works!
