Yeah I am in southern cali and can get a B18 with 70,000 on it for 400. I do not know which one but it is in an integra right now.

 

my friend picked up that exact same model for 800 bucks. so if you think that the swap and everything done to it is worth about 2500, go ahead imo

 

see here in portage, engines are about mid priced, maybe 1k for a B18, but the way it is here, theres no middle class, theres extremly rich and extremly poor. so it either odesnt make a dent in your wallet or you steal it out of a car and it doesnt make a dent in the wallet of the ppl who can actually afford one

 

so if you live in michigan and u have a really sweet civic, dont come here for more than a few days at a time, and if your here more than that, you prolly wanna keep it in a garage, most ppl here dont keep their cars in garages simply cuz theyre mostly 2 and 3 car garages and everyone (at least in the neighborhood i live in) has 3 or 4 cars

dont take this as im rich enough to afford an engine w/o it makin a dent in my wallet, at this point in time i dont have HALF of 1k

 

So it's pretty unanimous the car is NOT a good deal

 

im down here also, so cal that is. i beleive i'm looking for a b18c/1. can you share?

 

It doesn't sound like that good of a deal to me, and I'm going by prices where I live.
