sounds like a high compression, and healthy. all were exactly 210.....???

maachan513 Sep 21, 2010 12:23 PM

Wow, is the gauge accurate??

1992 civic driver Sep 21, 2010 12:37 PM

yup used the gauge to times on to different car the gauge works and i got 210 in all maybe off 1 or 2 psi but i think they were all the same psi. its a d15b vtec. is that compression high for that engine.

well it is high but the head could have been shaved, i would say your safe, its just a lil odd for a used motor to be all exact psi. it might have real low miles or a fresh rebuild not long ago.
