d15b hp help
hey guys just wondering what i can do to get my mid and top speed pull up on a d15b vtec. i have exhaust short ram intake. do you think it whould make a difference if i got cold air intake. and i was thinking of getting my computer chipped. just tell me what you think whould give me some more hp. one more thing is their any way i can find out what year my engine is what rpm the vtec starts thanks for any help.
to find out year, there is a year stamp on the head just right of above exhaust ports.
to get a little more top end power you can get some head work done and install a stage 1 cam. getting your ecu chipped will be worthless unless you get it tuned and dyno'd. to see when your vtec kicks in you can install a 12v light on the wire that goes to the vtec solnoid. and when it kicks in the light will light up.
