d16y8 manifold on a D17A1 head?

okay...so i've try'd to do some research on this..

but i couldnt find much. i found out just enough that i know it can be done.

my friend has an extra manifold of off his old y8 and if i can find out enough information i am going to buy it.

what are your thoughts?

do you know what it would take? would i need to convert ecu's?

NOT gonna happen, thus the reason nobody likes the d17. its incompatible with all other d series

well, he's a first that i know of that has accomplished that but if you look at the video its only got 2 bolts holding it in on top, i know the ports dont match so he must have done some machining, ill see if i can dig some info up on this for ya

i noticed the two bolts too, i am just curious. because this monifold looks alot similar to the y7 manifold. this engine sucks. because i cant find anything to do to it, i want to do somthing different
