Difference between CX and DX hatchback?
 

Does anyone know the differences between a CX and DX hatchback and which one is preferable? I like the 1999-2000 style hatches and wanna know before I buy one.

I also hear the hatches never came with A/C and they had to get an aftermarket A/C system. Is this true?

As far as A/C my '91 hatch came with it so I'm pretty sure they still do.

I was at a Honda dealership (cause I'm lookin for a 1999-2000 hatch) and the salesman told me that they were considered an economy car so Honda never put A/C in them. He said everyone with A/C was an aftermarket system.
Just wanted to see if this guy was on Earth or not.

i've got a 96 civic hatch cx and it came with air conditioning the only differences that i know between the cx and dx is the dx has the rear wiper on the hatch and the cx doesnt and the cx is a little lighter other then that i dont know any other differences

some differences are

rear upper wing car color on dx not cx
dx came with am/fm radio cx did not
dx has rear wiper cx does not
cx had some nasty cookie cutter wheels dx had the regulas hub caps
you guys are right none came with ac but was a dealer option
