I have a 93 civic si (stock)with 112000 miles,under the distributer cap i'm hearing a loud squealing noise,the noise started about 2 weeks ago went away and now it's back and louder then ever,what is the situation?and can i continue to drive the car,btw it runs fine with the noise.TIA.

 

take the cap off and check to see if the set sscrew had become loose and is rubbing on something.
