Do I need new strut mounts when ordering new struts/shocks?

I had ordered some kyb agx shocks/struts, but when I got them no top mounts were included. Can I just use the stock mounts or do I have to buy agx mounts?

use the ones on your car now, no need for new ones

If you plan on doing lowering springs with the new shocks, then I would purchase new mounts. That way you will still have the stock ones complete and then you can swap them back in at anytime (ie for winter or when you sell/trade in your car) and you can sell the KYB AGX's to someone here.

the KYB "strut mounts" you see for sale aren't really the mount, they're just the bushings and hardware that go in the mount. Trust me, I ordered them expecting full mounts and they only came with the bushings and hardware, which I believe already come with the shock. If you want new mounts, get some pillowball mounts.
