Does anyone know (in ball park) How much horse power I will be looking at with a D16 motor and an ebay style turbo kit (t3/t4) compared to a B16 motor and the same style type of turbo kit. Keep in mind that I do have a pretty nice exaust system.
Thanks for your time. No one will give me any numbers, they all just say "well it all depends." I know that it depends on alot of things but I'm just looking for an estimate.

well i would say the B16 would be better because they have more base horsepower then the Z6.

 

I know that the B16 is pushin much more power than the D16. The B16 is like high hundreds bhp and the D16 is lower hundreds bhp, BUT how much horsies am I looking at as an improvement on bothe engines with an ebay style turbo (t3/t4)ish???????????????????

 

with an ebay kit, you're prolly looking at around 0 hp considering it will prolly not even run...

800 bucks for a turbo kit is cheap but it aint like im getting it used for a hundred bucks and I know that those kits work ive done my research. And I also know some people who got them and they sya that they generally dont last as long but for performance perpose its a good price for what you get.

roughly 8-10 hp per psi for d, 10-12 per psi for b.
