hey guys i am not good with cars at all but i love to learn about cars and engines and stuff! this is the car i bought recently! its honda civic 1996 2 door automatic!

here is the picture of engine!

i know some of u are pro's! so just have a look at my engine and what u all think about it?

looks like tpyical D16 nonvtec motor, DXcivic or some kinda low model civic...

nothing horible dont get me wrong.... youll probably get beter gas milage than a Vtec motor....

definitely some cleaning. The only thing cool I see is the AEM short ram intake.
But I wouldn't be doing mod's on a automatic car at all..waste of money.If you want it for economy and just as a family car. It's great gas mileage car. But like I say if you want to mod it get a 5 spd car instead.
I also own a 94 accord Ex automatic but it's my g/f car now. I didn't try to do modifications it's not worth it. The only thing I did on it was put some 17 inch rims lowered, installed a magnaflow and high flow cat.

Now on the other side I own a 00 Si. I'm building that car up.
