So after reading another post about dome light issues, it reminded me that I'm having one of my own going on with the '97 LX.

When I unlock the car with the remote, the dome light goes on. When I open a door, the light dims. It's not annoying enough for me to be overly concerned about it, but if it's something easy, I'd be tempted to clear it up.

Anyway, mk378 mentioned that the dome light circuitry went through the OEM radio, and I'm wondering if that's the issue going on here. The light always did this when I had the OEM head unit installed, and now that I have an aftermarket one installed (retaining the OEM one under the dash for the keyless remote), it continues to dim when I open the door.

Just curious if anyone has any thoughts. Thanks!
