drian plug problems

sooooo i was draining a little bit of my oil out because i filled the car with to much and when i was screwing the plug back in i overtightened it broke the plug and i lost about half of my oil. so i went to autozone bought a new drain plug except now it wont even screw into the threads... what can i do ??

you probaably stripped the threads, you can.... buy a new oil pan, rethread your oil pan, or just buy a rubber oil plug from autozone and call it a day,

out of all of those options what would be easiest and what would be cheapest?

rubber plug from auto zone.. re threading might be a pain in the butt if you ask me,
go to a junk yard if you have time pick up a new oil pan, it could be pretty cheep.

but nothing can beat the price of a rubber plug.
