Today my Vtec Valve cover arrived, Won it in auctoin on ebay for $61 free shipping! and after allot! of cleaning,stripping out the old plug gaskets and discarding the rusted bolts this is what I got! what do you think good buy?!

 

You paid $61 for a VC that says VTEC? Holy **** thats expensive. I had one months ago and it took me forever to sell. Finally found someone on another forum to buy it for $25. Maybe i am just out of the SOHC loop

 

As far as ebay goes, the cheapest next to this one I saw over the past 3months of searching was $100 shipped, and I never could find another one on craigslist or swap meets that dident come with ither the whole head or the whole engine and I have no need or $$ for another head but I did consider buyin the head to rob the cover and have a spare head as one was only 150$, but I wasn't going to wait around forever to find the perfect deal. lol

 

Yea, maybe I am not with the times, or was just unlucky when I tried to sell it. The only one I saw close was someone on a different forums selling for $55 plus shipping.

 

I was thinking my "rare" 1.6 vtec valve cover would fetch $50.
