Default for an ek or eg hatch h22 or k20?

Just wondering which would be a better choice in the long run the both have similar figures for power and torque not sure on the weights of the motors. Price is the big diff of course. I am just trying to get an idea of what the best options are right now i want to go big and get something i wont want to upgrade for a long time. The k20 lures me for the fact that they are going to be lower milage and newer and i could get one in there and leave it alone and have a very fast reliabe car. plus its newer so there will be an expanding market for it. My brother is a master tech with experiance in honda motors so he said he would lend a hand with the swap. My brother says go for the k20 since it has more tech and is just cooler lol says h22 is just too low tech and boring.

I'm confused. Are you trying to decide between an ek and an eg and also trying to pick out a motor? I'm not familiar with engine swaps (yet ), but an eg may be easier because you won't have to worry about passing inspections if you need to go from obd2 to obd1. The inspection thing is what's making me so indecisive about my long-term goals for my ek.
