EK, EJ, EM, meanings
This has been confusing me for quite some time and I can't seem to find anything in the forum about it. What do the EK, EJ, EM.... what do those all stand for and mean?

RE: EK, EJ, EM, meanings
they're just a code name for the chassis or model of your car. they are terms commonly used in our society to refer to civics and many other cars. for example, most people refer to all 92 to 95 civics as eg and all 96 to 00 civics as ek. even though the model technically isn't eg or ek, people still call them that. another example, i have a 96 civic hatch, with the real chassis code as ej6, but people still refer to it as an ek9 because it is the sixth generation civic hatchback. i think there is a sticky on chassis code names on here that will tell you what your car is.
but as i have mentioned in several threads already, the easiest way to find your car is to look at your vin number. read my explanation on the vin number in this thread https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_46.../tm.htm#462818 |
RE: EK, EJ, EM, meanings
