Will a JDM H23A Blue Top Honda Prelude 97-01 & Honda Accord 98-02
fit into my 2000 civic Si? this motor is supposed to be rare with 197 HP and came out in 98,right now i have a SOHC Vtec D16Y8 in it,heres a pic of the motor, also, this motor should bolt right up to my existing 5 speed tranny?

It'll fit your Civic with modification. No, it won't bolt up to that transmission.

You have a 2000 Si with a B series engine. You will need an H series transmission for that H23a engine. You will also need H series mounts and hybrid axles and a lot of other little pieces.

I think there is some sort of adapter plate you can buy, called H2B. I don't know specifics though.

The information's still correct, though. The H23 won't bolt up to your D-series transmission, and you'll need hybrid mounts and axles to get things to work. Basically, you're looking at ~$4,000(US. Sorry, I don't know prices for the swap in Canada, but I'd assume it'd be close) to get it in the car and running properly.
