I just got an auto 93 civic hatchback dx with no engine. I been driving the manual 4 door sedan dx and the body on it is pretty messed up. So anyways I want to do a engine swap and wondering if they will fit and what problems there might be.

 

the engine will fit just fine.. you'll have to do some cutting (not much) to the hatch to get the shift linkage to fit, but other than that it'll basically be a drop-in swap. You'll have to do a tiny bit of wiring to conver the hatch to a 5-speed, but it shouldn't be hard (at all)
