Engine Warning light

Engine Warning light
Hi all, one of my friends have a 1998 Civic Sedan and started to get Engine warning light and of course with that the maintenance warning as well so he did the tune-up on. But the engine light is still on. Is there a way to reset that??? Any help would be appreciated.

Is the CEL (see link in my signature) or the maintenance light ON? They are different. The maintenance light is reset by pushing the key into the slot at the bottom of the gauge assembly window.

Thats the cell light saying theres something wrong. Theres also a warning light (not really a light) that reminds you to change the oil
